INDIANAPOLIS / GREENWOOD / INDY’S SOUTH SIDE
Your next home starts with a clearer plan.
Buying or selling a home in Indianapolis, Greenwood, or Indy’s south-side communities? Tyler Jones at CENTURY 21 Scheetz helps you connect the home, the numbers, and the timing, so your next move feels more manageable.
Let’s talk about your plans01 / FIND YOUR FIT
Buying a home in Indianapolis, Greenwood, and nearby communities.
The right search starts with your everyday needs: the space you use, the locations that work for you, the features you care about, and the payment range you are comfortable exploring with your lender. We’ll turn those priorities into useful search criteria.
Whether you are buying your first home, looking for more room, considering acreage, or comparing new construction with resale, Tyler helps you evaluate the options and understand the next step.
- Before the search: define your priorities, financing needs, preferred areas, and timeline.
- When a home stands out: review comparable sales, condition, disclosures, and the terms of a potential offer.
- Under contract: coordinate the real estate steps around inspections, financing, deadlines, and closing.
For new construction, we can discuss the builder’s process, available homes or build timelines, included features, additional costs, and any advertised incentives. Availability and terms need confirmation for the specific home.
02 / KNOW YOUR STARTING POINT
Selling your home with a plan behind the price.
A price estimate is useful. Understanding what you might walk away with and how a sale fits your next purchase is more useful. We’ll look at comparable sales, your home’s condition and features, and the competition buyers are considering.
From there, we can discuss preparation priorities, marketing, showing plans, and your timing. The goal is to make informed choices about what to address before listing and how to position your home for the market you are entering.
When offers arrive, price is one part of the comparison. Financing, contingencies, closing dates, possession, and other terms can affect which option best fits your priorities.

Need to sell before you buy?
You may be weighing available equity, a larger home, a different location, or whether the timing is comfortable. We can organize the potential sale range, estimated selling costs, mortgage payoff, and next-home options into one conversation.
Your lender can help verify purchase financing and any options for overlapping ownership. Tyler can help discuss the real estate timing, possible contingencies, and practical tradeoffs. There is no single sequence that fits every household.
If a rental property is part of the plan, explore investment real estate. For a business property, learn about commercial representation.

BEFORE WE BEGIN
A few good questions.
Can we talk before I am ready to move?
Absolutely. A planning conversation can help you understand your options and the information to gather. You decide whether moving now, later, or staying put makes sense.
Is your home value estimate an appraisal?
No. It is an agent’s market estimate based on comparable sales, property details, and current competition. An appraisal is a separate service. Your eventual sale price and proceeds depend on actual market conditions and transaction terms.
Can you help me compare resale homes with new construction?
Yes. We can compare available options, total costs, timing, and builder terms. Contact Tyler before visiting a builder so representation and any registration requirements can be discussed early.
Do I need financing arranged before we talk?
You can start the conversation first. A lender will need to verify your borrowing options and any assistance-program eligibility before you rely on a purchase budget. Tyler can coordinate the real estate planning around that step.
YOUR GOALS. A THOUGHTFUL NEXT STEP.

plans in motion.
